Checked out the 'If You Could Collaborate' exhibition at the A Foundation Gallery last week. Really interesting work throughout by the 33 pairings/collaborations from some of the biggest name in the industry. 'Calligraffiti' by Craig Ward, Sean Freeman & Alison Carmichael was a highlight, always seduced by pretty aphorisms.
As well there was a lovely piece by Anthony Burrill and astronomer John Griffiths with simple use of shape and colour & charming figures made of scrap wood and metal by Chrissie Macdonald and Marie O'Connor. Lots to feat your eyes upon.
It might be worth me investing in the It's Nice That catalogue to accompany the exhibition. Or check out the website http://www.ifyoucould.co.uk/collaborate to view all the work produced.
