Went to a few exhibitions while i was in London for a few days. Checked out the Danish designers Hvass & Hannibal at the Kemistry Gallery. Their exhibition 'Losing the Plot' is a colourful array of mixed media of sculpture, posters and prints that are inspired from data. Hvass & Hannibal “got lost, and went a bit mad, often ending up with a hypnotising pattern instead of an informative plotted or charted result. The essence is that the process of envisioning information can be used as a tool to come up with a certain type of graphic expression.” Really enjoyed this show, made me want to get a wood cutting machine and my paint pots and start crafting. Also checked out Decode at the V&A. My favourite piece was by Mehmet Akten 'Body Paint' that acted as a blank canvas however it responded to motion and when you moved it would paint the screen with bright colours. I want one in my house! Have always wanted to splash paint on a pristine white wall.
